FCMBI is using cutting edge
technologies to video stream the classes live to a location near you. Our
classes are streamed live on selected Saturdays starting at 10:00 AM and
ending at 7:00 PM eastern standard time.
The instructor has
interaction with the students at the remote locations using AIM
Technology (AOL Instant Messaging System). The students are encouraged
to ask inquiring questions concerning the topic of material and give
appropriate feedback to the instructors. Upon the completion of the
Saturday class the student will be tested on the material taught.
Reading and research /term papers are also a part of the students
grading evaluation.
We have students come to
a remote location where each school has a proctor appointed by the local
pastor. The proctor is in charge of oversight of the class. His duties
include promoting class registration and upcoming classes, attendance,
collecting of assignments, passing out and monitoring or mid-term and
final exams, mailing of information and being the communication link
between the students and the dean of students. The proctor is also
responsible for the oversight of the live stream feed and the monitoring
of the live interaction with the instructor using aim technology. If the
proctor has at least ten (10) registered paying students the proctor
receives that class free of charge. The proctor is selected by the local
pastor and FCMBI faculty.
The technology required for hosting
FCMBI at your location:
A. Hi-speed internet connection.
B. Internal RAM of at least 1
gig.
C. Projection system connected to
the computer for live stream viewing.
D. Windows Media Player 10 or
above
E. AOL instant messaging system
6.0 or above.
F. Pastor/Proctor assigned to be
present at each class for viewing and testing.
